In middle school, I planned to study genetics so I could implant myself with chloroplasts, so I wouldn't have to eat as much to survive. The side-effect of turning green was of no concern to me.

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Most people haven't been there, but that's just because they don't know that the coolest city in the US is buried in the Midwest, which gets the least clout of any US region.
